Hi, I'm Alexis —
your overly friendly half‑Chinese bestie.
By day I'm a full-stack software engineer at Wayfair, building frontend experiences in React and TypeScript that millions of people use. By night (and weekends, and honestly any free moment) I'm a TikTok creator dragging my camera to restaurants, snorkel spots, concerts, and 54 countries worth of adventures.
I grew up half Chinese, which means I have strong opinions about congee and a genuine love for exploring how people live around the world. Growing up at the intersection of cultures gave me a curiosity that no passport can fully satisfy — 54 countries in and I'm still going. When I'm not coding or filming, I'm deep into an audiobook, training martial arts, or out on a walk with my dog — always with headphones in.
